Listing Watch: the text that starts a campaign

When a new listing goes live on your Compass profile, Hugo can start listing ads for it automatically, but only if you say so first. Listing Watch is the one text that makes that happen.

The short answer

Listing Watch is the text that turns a new listing into live ads with one reply

One text, one reply, and the ad work starts. Listing Watch is a message you get the moment a new listing shows up under your Compass profile, asking if you want Hugo to run listing ads for it. You reply YES, and Hugo builds and launches the ads using the listing details already on file, no forms and no login needed to get it moving. You can check on what's running any time inside Hugo Hub.

What Listing Watch actually is

Listing Watch is a text message, not a setting you have to go dig up. When a new listing posts under your Compass profile, Hugo sends you a short message asking if you want listing ads running for it. You don't open an app or log into anything to trigger this part. The listing itself is what starts the conversation.

Replying YES is the whole action required on your end. Once you send it, Hugo pulls the listing's address, price, and photos straight from what's already attached to it and uses that to build the ads. You're not re-entering anything you already put into the listing. That's the point of doing it by text instead of a form: one word, and the setup work happens on Hugo's side.

How replying YES turns into ads

YES routes straight to HugoBot, the same intake system that handles it when you talk to Hugo directly to buy a package. HugoBot reads the listing details, checks what package tier you've set as your default for listing ads, and assembles the ads against that. If you've never set a default, Hugo will ask which tier you want the first time, and that answer sticks for the next listing too.

You don't need to review copy or approve creative before it goes out. The ads follow the same build Hugo uses whenever you buy a listing ad package the regular way, just triggered by a text instead of a full conversation. If something needs your input, like a photo Hugo can't use, HugoBot will text you again before moving forward.

What you can do after the ads are live

Everything you started by text shows up in Hugo Hub once it's running. That's where you go to see the ads themselves, swap the package tier, pause them, or check what's happening with the listing. Listing Watch only covers the start. Hugo Hub is where you manage what happens next.

If you want to skip Listing Watch for a specific listing, you can. Not replying just means no ads start, and the listing sits without them until you tell Hugo otherwise through Hugo Hub or another text. Nothing launches without your YES.

What exactly is Listing Watch?

A text alert tied to your listings. The moment a new listing posts under your Compass profile, Hugo sends you a message asking whether to start listing ads for it. Reply YES and Hugo takes it from there using the address, photos, and price already attached to the listing. No new setup, no separate intake conversation. One reply starts the whole thing.

Does replying YES commit you to a specific package?

It uses whatever your default is. Most agents set a default listing ad package once, and Listing Watch just applies that same choice every time a new listing comes in, unless you tell Hugo to change it. You can always swap the tier or pause the ads afterward from Hugo Hub. The default just keeps you from starting from zero every time.

Who actually builds the ad once you text YES?

HugoBot handles it. The same intake system that walks you through buying a package directly is what processes your YES and assembles the ads from the listing data on file. You are not talking to a person and you don't need to be. It runs the same way every time.
